We've already started getting ready for Halloween this year. I bought quite a few items for a spooky décor. Our whole family is excited about halloween this year. He tends to go overboard when it comes to halloween. The front yard becomes his museum of spooky creatures. He even bought sound effects this year to make things even more halloweenish. I have to say, he's having a lot of fun planning this stuff. Our boys have been a big help with the wiring and setting up the props. They keep picking up more and more halloween props for the front yard. It will be interesting to see where he will put all the stuff he's bought. He wanted to have a haunted house in our back yard, but I wouldn't hear of it. With the other holidays coming there was no way we could blow that kind of money.

So we had to set some boundaries for our Halloween décor. While browsing through the internet he ran across a store that had lots of inexpensive items to choose from for halloween. This was a pretty cool halloween supply store he ran across. I liked the props and decorations so much I gave him the go ahead to order them. I really liked the fog juice he ordered. It really adds to the scary ambiance already in progress. I also conceded to the dropping zombie guy he wanted. One of the coolest halloween props yet. He's going to hang it just above the archway on our porch. He also bough a voice changer and a icky crawling hand to put by the bowl of candy. I thought I should check out this site and see if I could find some kids and halloween baby costumes too. There were all kinds for all ages and not very expensive I might add. They had everything from newborn baby halloween costumes to costumes for adults. This would be a great place to get the costumes for our two babies and two older kids. I looked through the baby bunting costumes for my youngest and found quite a few choices of costumes for babies. I was particularly fond of the infant baby costume that was a little hot dog bunting costume. My husband preferred the football costume for the baby. There were so many terrific choices for baby costumes. There are all kinds of adorable baby holloween costumes to choose from. There's also a baby costume that looks like a car air freshener. I couldn't picture dressing our baby boy in a baby halloween costume that resembles an air freshener. Our little newborn boy got to wear one of the football baby bunting halloween costumes. But, then he had to say yes to the cute little minnie mouse outfit I chose for our toddler girl.

The boys got to choose their costumes on their own this time. David chose to dress up like his favorite super hero Wolverine. Our oldest chose a character from one of his favorite movies, “Beetlejuice”. The boys wanted to know if we were going to dress up this year too. I wasn't really crazy about the idea at first. I had to think about that for a while even though it sounded like a blast. We decided to at least view the collection of adult halloween costumes they had to offer. After seeing what they had and discussing it, we decided to order costumes for ourselves.] My first choice was the zombie prom queen. My husband thought about being a swashbugling pirate at first. But we decided to be the classic couple, popeye and olive oyl. So, we ended up with great decorations, props and costumes for everyone at wonderfully low prices. Halloween just keeps getting better and better.
